Arsenal sign teenage Danish goalkeeper Isabella Damm

Arsenal have signed teenage Danish goalkeeper Isabella Damm on a permanent transfer from Brondby IF, the club announced. The 18-year-old joins after spending time on trial with Arsenal last season and is considered one of the most promising young goalkeepers in Europe.

Damm is a Denmark youth international, having gained experience at both under-17 and under-19 levels. She joined Brondby in 2021 and progressed through the youth ranks, making her first-team debut in October 2025. Her performances caught the attention of Arsenal's scouting network.

Goalkeeping department

Damm will wear the number 40 shirt and joins Daphne van Domselaar and Anneke Borbe in Arsenal's goalkeeping department. The signing adds depth to the squad as Arsenal compete in the Women's Super League and European competitions.
