Manchester City have signed England forward Beth Mead on a free transfer from Arsenal. The 31-year-old agreed a three-year deal with the Women's Super League champions after her contract expired in May.
Arsenal have appointed Portuguese doctor Arnaldo Abrantes as their new club doctor, replacing Zafar Iqbal. Abrantes joins from Aston Villa, where he left at the end of the season, and will start at Arsenal in July.
Arsenal is demanding up to £20m for striker Gabriel Jesus this summer, with multiple clubs making enquiries. The 29-year-old Brazilian has been quoted at £18-20m, and while his contract runs until June 2027, the club is not considering a cheap sale.
