Short overview

Bayern Munich's Uli Hoeneß laughed off reports of Real Madrid's interest in Michael Olise, stating the club would not negotiate even if the Emperor of China came calling. He also ruled out selling Luis Díaz.

Bayern Munich honorary president Uli Hoeneß has dismissed speculation linking Michael Olise with a move to Real Madrid, saying he found the reports amusing.

“Real Madrid wanted Olise? I laughed my head off,” Hoeneß said.

He added that Bayern would not entertain any offers for the player, regardless of the interested party. “The Emperor of China could come to us and we still wouldn't negotiate,” he stated.

Hoeneß also made clear that the same stance applies to Luis Díaz, indicating that Bayern would not consider selling the Colombian winger.
