Arsenal women have completed the signing of England midfielder Georgia Stanway from Bayern Munich on a free transfer. The 27-year-old joins after deciding mid-season to leave Bayern at the end of her contract, following a four-year spell in the Bundesliga where she won eight trophies.
Stanway's trophy-laden career
Stanway moved to Bayern from Manchester City in 2022 and went on to claim two Bundesliga titles, two DFB-Pokal cups, and four other domestic honors. Before her move to Germany, she won the Women's Super League title, three FA Cups, and three League Cups with City. At international level, Stanway has scored 33 goals in 93 appearances for England and was an integral part of the Lionesses' historic Women's European Championship triumphs in 2022 and 2025.
