Kane leaves country concert early to meet England curfew

Short overview
England captain Harry Kane and teammates Dan Burn and Jason Steele attended an Ella Langley concert in Missouri but left early to comply with team curfew. Kane, a known country music fan, met the singer before the show and later posted photos on Instagram.
England captain Harry Kane and his teammates Dan Burn and Jason Steele attended a concert by US country music star Ella Langley in Independence, Missouri, on Friday, but had to leave before the end to meet the team's curfew.
The players were given a day off by manager Thomas Tuchel following England's 4-2 win over Croatia in their opening World Cup match, in which Kane scored twice. Burn, a defender for Newcastle United, revealed that Kane is a devoted country music fan and that the trio took the opportunity to see Langley perform.
Meeting the star
Burn described the outing in detail. “We got asked to go and watch Ella Langley. I was the only person suited and booted with cowboy hat, jeans, the lot,” he said. “Harry and Steeley managed to meet Ella before the gig, but I turned up a little bit later.”
However, the players had to leave before the concert ended. “But we missed the last three songs because we had to be back for curfew, which I was a bit gutted about because those are her best ones,” Burn added.
Kane's country music passion
Burn confirmed that Kane's love for country music is well known within the squad. “Harry is a big country music fan. There's a record player in the hotel and when it's the captain's pick a lot of it is country music,” he said. “Ella was playing in West Palm Beach when we were there, but we weren't able to go because we wouldn't have got back for curfew so I'm glad we got another opportunity.”
Langley is best known for her hit Choosin' Texas, which topped the US charts and reached number 12 in the UK. After the concert, Kane posted pictures on Instagram, including one of him standing next to Langley holding an England shirt. “Great to meet you @ellalangleymusic, thank you for having us!” he wrote. “Amazing show, keep smashing it!”
