Rashford's return to training and future plans

The 28-year-old England international is set to return to training after a break. Manchester United will consider approaches for the player, though Rashford has already rejected more lucrative options elsewhere. If no suitable offer materializes, he is expected to remain at Old Trafford.

Previous loan spell at Barcelona

Rashford spent last season on loan at Barcelona, where the Spanish club held an option to make the move permanent for €30 million ($32.7m). However, Barcelona opted not to trigger the clause, and Rashford returned to Manchester United.

The expiration of the release clause gives United greater control over any potential sale, as they can now set their own asking price. Rashford's current contract with United runs until 2028, with an option for a further year.
