Courtois relaxed about Real Madrid future despite short-term renewals

Short overview
Thibaut Courtois says he is relaxed about his future at Real Madrid, noting that the club offers one-year renewals to players over 30. He believes his performances will secure a new deal but acknowledges the club will eventually need to plan for his successor.
Thibaut Courtois has addressed his future at Real Madrid, stating he is relaxed about the situation despite the club's policy of offering only one-year contract extensions to players over 30.
“My future? At Real Madrid, once you’re 30 years old, you only get 1-year renewals. So I’m quite relaxed about it,” Courtois said.
The goalkeeper added that his performances will determine whether he earns a new deal. “If I continue performing as I have been, a renewal won't be a problem. But Real Madrid is a top-level club and, at some point, they will have to think about my successor,” he said.
